Energy or chi is the powerful force which keeps us alive. It gives us the power to run marathons, it gives us the power to climb mountains, it gives us the power to do the most amazing things. Sometimes the flow of chi gets blocked by fear, trauma, grief or other emotional upset. If we allow our life force to stagnate we lose some of our power, like a car running low on fuel. Energy healing, whether it be Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Reiki Drum, Angel Therapy, Crystal Therapy, or any of the other complementary therapies available, can release the emotion causing the blockage, allowing us to move forward on our life's journey. With origins in Japan, Reiki is now widely used in the west. A form of Natural Healing, the Practitioner will channel the Universal Energy to assist the body to heal from within; to release tension from the body allowing the chi to flow freely and to encourage a positive mindset. There is no manipulation and the Practitioner can either work on the body with gentle touch or off the body in the client's energy field. The person receiving Reiki remains fully clothed at all times. Regular sessions of Reiki can aid relaxation; relieve stress and tension; promote positive attitude; alleviate pain; re-balance the body's energy system; aid recovery after illness; and boost the immune system keeping you healthy in mind, body and spirit.
Karuna Reiki was developed out of Usui Reiki by Reiki Masters at The International Centre for Reiki Training in America. It is a healing system very similar to Usui Reiki but works at a deeper level bringing in the energies of Ascended Masters and Angels. The receiver can expect to experience a wave of compassionate energy envelope them as the healing begins, balancing mind, body and spirit, helping to reduce or eliminate pain; release trauma; harmonising upper and lower bodies; increasing creativity; coping with life change; overcoming addictions; helping with fear or panic and bringing peace.
Reiki Drum Healing can be used with either Usui or Karuna Reiki and is a form of sound healing using the Reiki energy and resonance of the Drum to aid deeper healing.
Reiki Drum Journeying can help to release blockages and for soul retrieval (reconciling mind, body and spirit after trauma).
Reiki Drum Emotional Programming can help to change old thought patterns and bring about positive change.
